I'm no scientist but...imagine your life like a cake. And then someone took a slice of the you-cake and transferred it onto a plate called Luceti. So sliced-you chills out here until you go home, at which point you're returned to right where your slice was cut. And also you're magically reattached to rest of your cake-life. And somehow not stale or gross.
